The Stitchin' Bee | A SEW-cial Night

The Stitchin' Bee is not a class but a FREE social sewing event that takes place in the Oh Sew Bold studio. Social sewing groups go by many names: sewing bee, stitch and bitch, stitching circle, etc. No matter the name they all involve a group of enthusiasts bonding over the common thread between them. Sewing can be conveniently done at home, but sometimes you want that social spark, and the nudge to finish those projects. This is where the Stitchin’ Bee comes in! Join us for a boost of inspiration, grown up chats, and to meet your local stitchers. Our sewing community may be small, but it is vibrant.

Come along to foster friendships, see and learn from what other sewists are making. You may be surprised with what YOU have to share. Sometimes the meet ups are down to business with lots of creating, and others it’s more relaxed with lots of natter. No matter what, I have light refreshments on hand to sustain you and your work, be that working the machine or the jaw.

So dust off the sewing machine, grab your unfinished project and come on up to the studio. Don’t have anything to sew on that night? I have a binder of project ideas but you can come just for the chinwag, anyway! You don’t need to book in, the space is small but we will make space for everyone who comes. All are truly welcome!

Next Event: June 9th 2023 | 6pm to 7:45pm
