And a healthy step to slowing our fast fashion consumption.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-10\"> <\/span><b>All supplies included in class! <\/b>While<b> <\/b>I highly recommend you bring in clothes to practice on and receive specific\nguidance, it is not required. <\/p><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><i><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-10\"> <\/span>Some of the things you will learn in class*:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul><li>Taking up hems\/\n\tlengthening clothing<\/li><li>Mending rips and\n\ttears<\/li><li>Replacing basic\n\tzippers<\/li><li>Taking in\/ letting\n\tout clothing<\/li><\/ul>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>*If there is something you are interested in that isn't on the\nlist, let me know, and I will do my best to cover it during class!<\/i><br><i><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-10\"> <\/span><\/i><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>If\nyou have a sewing machine,<\/b> I suggest bringing it to the\nclass as it will help you become more comfortable with sewing on your\nown machine. Old machines can be serviced at the <a href=\"http:\/\/sewingmachinesireland.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Singer\nSewing Centre<\/a> in Waterford. They can also look after you if\nyou are looking for a new or refurbished machine.<br>\n <br>\n<b>If\nyou don't have a sewing machine,<\/b> I have a limited amount of\nmachines available to use, just In this one day beginner alteration class, we will discover ways to extend the life of your wardrobe and reduce landfill waste

This class is for those with sewing previous experience. (Beginners start here) In class you will learn and practice basic tailoring techniques that will save you a fortune in alteration fees. And a healthy step to slowing our fast fashion consumption.

All supplies included in class! While I highly recommend you bring in clothes to practice on and receive specific guidance, it is not required.

*If there is something you are interested in that isn't on the list, let me know, and I will do my best to cover it during class!

If you have a sewing machine, I suggest bringing it to the class as it will help you become more comfortable with sewing on your own machine. Old machines can be serviced at the Singer Sewing Centre in Waterford. They can also look after you if you are looking for a new or refurbished machine.

If you don't have a sewing machine, I have a limited amount of machines available to use, just select "I don't have a sewing machine" before adding it your cart.
